Pat Seybold moved to Camp Verde in 2019 to be closer to their son, who lives in Scottsdale. She knew that living in the Phoenix area was not an option, as she was moving from a rural property in Kentucky. She decided to spend time in various towns in the Verde Valley. The moment she visited Camp Verde, she knew it was a good fit. It turned out to be a perfect fit. She found a home off Middle Verde Road and settled into a new life. She loves the town's rural feel and the people who call Camp Verde home.
Part of her history passed down from her family heritage is that it is important to give back to your community. She became eager to become an active part of the Verde Valley community. Her employment history revolves around supporting and advocating for people with developmental disabilities. Pat Seybold’s career began in teaching and culminated in the Executive Branch of the Governor’s Office prior to retirement. This offered the opportunity to work with local, state, and federal elected officials, their staff, and entities crafting legislation and policies to advance the rights and services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Patricia Seybold is a Certified Mediator with a history of mediating workplace personnel disputes, family conflicts, and church-based conflicts. She has facilitated groups, large and small, in strategic planning and other group discussions. Her background in conflict management and dispute resolution has taught her to listen more and speak less. Combining her strengths, education, and credentials, relocating to Camp Verde has opened a volunteer opportunity as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children who have been removed from their homes due to allegations of abuse and /or neglect. Her role as a CASA is to advocate and represent the children in court.

While this has been a fulfilling volunteer opportunity, she desired to expand her skill set in a different way. She is a member of Kiwanis. They do a lot of awesome community service in Camp Verde.
In 2025, Patricia Seybold was appointed for Town Council. She accepted the position with pride and has felt honored to represent the citizens of Camp Verde. She ran in 2024 but was not elected. This time will be her 2nd time running. Ms. Patricia is running again for office because she desires to continue serving this community. She genuinely loves the community and its residents. It is her desire to represent all residents of Camp Verde by seeking and listening to diverse perspectives on matters before the Camp Verde Town Council.
